Evergen partnership brings improved battery performance to EVO Power customers
Optimising commercial and industrial-scale batteries to save money and emissions
Sydney, Australia – 1 March 2023. Today, Evergen, a leading provider of digital energy optimisation platforms, announced their integration with EVO Power, a specialist that provides leading modular storage solutions in the commercial and industrial-scale battery sector. The partnership integrates EVO Power’s AC-coupled batteries with the Evergen platform, offering business customers and asset operators improved energy cost savings, energy efficiency, and flexibility.
The integration will provide a seamless and effortless digital energy experience and make it easier for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale customers to optimise and monetise their batteries. Evergen’s agnostic approach allows customers to move between retailers and network operators while remaining resilient to market conditions. Customers will also benefit from increased flexibility by joining Virtual Power Plants (VPPs) to further monetise their batteries.
The partnership between Evergen and EVO Power will also provide expert support and technical training resources to customers, ensuring the successful implementation of these features.
For customers choosing to join VPPs, Evergen’s optimisation represents more than a real-world cost saving, but also a meaningful and active contribution to the local community by providing increased stabilisation of and clean energy to the local energy grid.
Ben Hutt, CEO and Managing Director of Evergen, said, “Our strong partnership with EVO Power and our joint commitment to delivering high-quality services provides customers with a future-proof investment that will deliver long-term business benefits. This includes increasing battery efficiency, productivity, flexibility in adapting to different market strategies and return on investment.”
Jamie Allen, EVO Power Group CEO, added, “Our partnership with Evergen is the product of real innovation in the energy storage industry. Now, not only do EVO Power customers have access to our customisable modular systems, they have increased control and monitoring of their assets to make the absolute most out of their investment. This integration also provides another layer of excellence, allowing customers to access Evergen’s market-leading optimisation alongside the other benefits of the EVO Power battery system.”
The integration is due to be complete by mid March 2023 and will be available to NEO-Series customers immediately, with other AC-coupled solutions to follow.
